As a family, they have traveled in 9 states and held up to 100 concerts each year. This family h as three recordings to their credit. Their next radio release was “I Am Blessed”. This song has been reported as being the most requested song to be played on radio in parts of Michigan, Virginia , West Virginia and Texas. Currently, their song, “I Am Blessed” is climbing the charts.

In 2006, 2007, and 2008, the Thurstons were invited to sing at the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, KY. They shared the stage with many of the top groups in Gospel Music, including t he Booth Brothers, The Perry’s, Mercy’s Mark, The Toney Brothers, Signature Sound, Greater Vision, and the late Anthony Burger.

The family group consists of Dave & Marni Thurston and their sons. Brandon (17) is on drums and vocals; Adam (15) runs sound, sings and occasionally plays guitar; Cameron (13) manages the product table, sings in the family quartet and is also featured in a piano duet; Mitchel (12) assists in setting up the equipment, sings, and is beginning to play bass guitar. These boys are growing up and taking their place on stage with the family.

Two other men add their talents to make this group complete. Fred Udell plays the piano and Ron Lucas is lead vocalist. Fred has been involved in Gospel Music his entire life. His classy style adds so much to the sound of The Thurston’s Music. Fred has been a part of this family group since it began in 2005. Ron Lucas grew up around Gospel Music. His big lead voice adds a solid blend to the vocal sound of The Thurstons. Ron is featured on the title cut of the latest recording “Mine for the Asking”.
