Merry Christmas

Hello Everyone, I’d like to wish you a Merry Christmas from all of The Thurstons. It’s a wonderful time of the year. We have so much to be thankful for and because we know Christ as our Savior, we have much to celebrate this Christmas Season. We were off this past weekend, but were asked to share 2 songs in a beautiful candle light service that was held at our home church, The House of Prayer. That service took place last night. We had a wonderful time of celebration and are honored that we were asked to be part of this special service. We’re looking forward to having this week at home with our families and we’ll be off again next weekend. However, the bus pulls out on New Year’s Eve for a great time of gospel music that will be taking place at the Cass City High School in Cass City, MI (the Thumb area). We’ll be that with our friends the Calvarymen Qt. and The Gospelmen. It all starts at 7pm and goes until 10. Be sure to come out and be with us that night. On January 4th we’ll be with our friend Pastor Campbell at the Northpoint Church of God, Midland, MI. Several dates are in the works for next year that are brand new. In fact, about 50 new churches for next year. We’re very excited for this opportunity. We also will be sharing our music and ministry in many of the same churches we’ve visited for the past 10 years. We’ve gotten to know many of you and have appreciated your friendship over the years. We can’t wait to come back and be with you too. We’ll be in and out of the office over the next 2 weeks. If you send an e mail or call, please know that we’ll be checking messages from time to time and will get back in touch with you within a day or so. I’ll close for now, but before I do, let me again thank you for your kindness, your friendship, your prayers and continued support that you have shown to this ministry over the past 10 years. I also want to say thank you to Mr. Fred Udell for his faithfulness to this ministry throughout the past 10 years. Many of you know that Fred has retired from the road of gospel music with The Thurstons. He’s spent his entire life in gospel music, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s heard playing again in the future. The Thurstons have been praying for Fred as he trusts the Lord for guidance for his future. Well, I’ll close for now. It’s our prayer that you have the best Christmas ever and that people see the love of the Lord in you this Christmas Season. God bless you. Sincerely, Dave, Marni & Monty The Thurstons www.thethurstonfamily.org
