Hello,

I trust my e mail finds you doing well and walking in the blessings of the Lord.
I am enjoying the cooler weather we have been experiencing here in Mid Michigan
after a very hot and dry summer. We have even had some rain. It’s good to see
the grass greening up again.

Marni and I just returned from a weekend in Gatlinburg, TN. We had a 5 day getaway
with the boys and our good friends Jim & Beverly Carter from Garden City, MI. We
have a long relationship with Jim and Bev that goes back many years. We always
have a great time whenever we are able to get together. Today is Jim’s Birthday
and we want to wish him a very Happy Birthday today.

While in Gatlinburg we were able to do some hiking and we even went on a picnic.
We visited Dollywood too. We have pictures of us standing in Dolly’s private
tour bus. While at Dollywood we were able to visit with our friends the Kingdom
Heirs who delivered a spectacular performance.

We also attended the Gatlinburg Gathering on Friday and Sunday nights and heard
some of the greatest music this side of heaven. Gospel Music’s best were among
the talent line up for the entire weekend. We really enjoyed being able to be ministered
to in song. We are all pumped up and ready to get out there again ourselves.

Saturday, September 11th – Milan Baptist Church, Milan, MI 7pm
Sunday, September 12th – Rally Day Service, Henderson, MI 10:30am
Sunday, September 12th – Duplain Church of Christ, St. Johns, MI 6pm

There have been some changes and corrections made to our entire schdule. Please
view to be sure you have the latest information available.

Our new recording, “The Thurstons – Live” continues to go over well. Especially
the DVD. It’s our first. You can order from the “Music” page of our website.
We are running a special with our Combo Pack. You will want to take advantage
of these savings.

We have started scheduling for 2011. Please call our office or e mail me today
in regards to setting a date for the Thurstons to share our music and ministry at
your home church.

I’m looking forward to seeing many of you very soon at one of our fall events.
The Uncle John’s Cider Mill and the Royal Heirs Homecoming are two great events
in October. In November we head out to West Virginia for a weekend and also the
Kyra Jackson Memorial Sing in Battle Creek, MI is always alot of fun.

Please continue to pray for our family and ministry. We feel like we have the best
friends in the whole world and thank you for caring enough to mention our name when
you pray. We are so blessed.
