Hey Everyone,

I trust our e mail finds you all doing well and walking in the blessings of the
Lord. We had a great weekend last week. One person came to know the Lord as their
personal Savior last Sunday and several made a new commitment to their walk closer
with the Lord. “Ain’t that what it’s all about”?

It was good to have our “old singing buddy”, Monty Bishop on the bus with us last
weekend. Monty has been a lifelong friend and we really enjoy our time together.

Speaking of spending time with Monty, I’m really excited to tell you about a concert
that we’ll be part of this Saturday Night, May 5 @ 7PM at the Holt Junior High School,
Holt, Michigan (formerly the Holt High School).

Bring your family and friends and come out and be with us. An offering will be received
to benefit the School Music Program that night. And, the High School Choir will
be joining The Thurstons on stage on a few of our songs. It’s going to be a great
night and you don’t want to

miss it.

Yes, that’s right. It’s a school sponsored event and they are bringing Gospel Music
to the School for an exciting night of music, featuring Monty Bishop, The Thurstons
and the Holt High School Choir. Here’s the best part……admission is FREE!

Before we head over to the school to get set up and ready to go for Saturday night’s
concert, I am going to have the privilege of jumping on the bus with Triumphant
Qt. late Thursday Night or early Friday morning and spend a day or so with them.
They are traveling from East Tennessee to Cadillac, Michigan and are allowing me
to ride along and spend some time with this great group of guys and the #1 Quartet
in Gospel Music.

After the concert on Saturday night we’ll head over to Ft. Gratiot (Pt. Huron, MI)
for a Sunday Morning Service at the Riverside Tabernacle Church of God to be with
one of our favorite Pastors. Brother Shelton has been a friend of ours for almost
25 years. Marni and I have been singing in his church since we were first married.

After this weekend we will be taking a few weekends off to honor Marni on Mother’s
Day and the next weekend Adam graduates High School.

Hey, speaking of Triumphant Qt…I’ll go ahead and let you know that as of today
it’s final. Mark your calendars now for October 13, 2011 in Battle Creek, MI and
October 14, 2011 in Flint, MI. That’s right – two nights in a row with The Thurstons
and The Triumphant Qt. In fact, The Thurstons will be recording live in Flint that
night. We’ll tell you more as we work out all of the final details.

Between work, ball games, traveling and singing, preparing for Adam’s Graduation
and Mother’s Day, and multiple recordings, we have been very busy. Although we
will be taking 2 weekends off from traveling this month we will still be busy with
recording and selecting final songs for our next recording and preproduction things
too.

As always, we appreciate your prayers for our family during this busy time. It’s
our desire that God will be honored and lifted up, the lost saved and the Christian
encouraged by our songs and testimonies.

While you are praying, please remember Fred’s mom, Robin Udell who has not been
feeling well and recently spent a few days in the Hospital. She is home and doing
better now.

As always, we appreciate your kindness and your friendship so much. You are such
a blessing to our family.

We’ll look forward to seeing you very soon and pray God’s blessings on your life.
