Catch Up With The Thurstons

Hello Everyone, The Thurstons just came in from the weekend. We had a great service in Midland, MI yesterday morning at Northpoint Ministries, and a wonderful concert last night in Swartz Creek, MI at Hill Creek Church of God. We were with the Rob Mills Family last night. They are a great bunch to work with. We are headed to the Chicago area this coming weekend and have a busy schedule through the rest of the year. Be sure to visit the events page on our web page and come out to be with us when we’re in your area. We’ve had a great summer. On a personal note, Monty’s first grandchild was born on July 4th. Monty’s enjoying being part of the Grandpa Club. Marni and I have a new grandson that was born a few weeks ago. This makes our 7th grandchild. His name is Carter. This summer we were part of several concerts and church ministry events. We’ve traveled thousands of miles sharing the Good News of the Gospel. We are always excited to hear the reports from folks who have shared how one of our songs touched their lives, or encouraged them through a trial. Praise the Lord for the message in a song that brings comfort a peace. There are some exciting thigs in the works for 2017. One of them being a “Thurston Homecoming”. We’ll keep you posted as all the details come together and a final date is set so you can save the date. Here’s something exciting that happens in January. We are going on a Gospel Music Cruise to the Western Caribbean. We’d like for you to join us and come along. If interested, please contact us through our office or e mail about this cruise. The Cruise will feature several other Gospel Music Artist, touring at several ports, Bible Study times and all the food you can eat. We’d love for you to go with us.
