From my devotions today.We often think of laying down our life for someone else in terms of dying.Jesus loved us so much that He laid down His life so that we could live. He's got that covered.But now, He asked us to lay down our lives in a different way. He asked us to show our love, not by dying for others, but by living for them.For the past several years The Thurstons have sang a song written by Monty Bishop , that says it best."Show Love, and Show our Faith.....through the labor of an Outstretched Hand".Our world will be a better place if we put this to practice.
