Expectancy Day!

It’s HERE!!! Expectancy Day!!!

The definition of “Expectancy” is this – “the state of thinking or hoping that something especially something pleasant, will happen or be the case”.

First of all, this “Hope” is not just wishful thinking – its Biblical application can be defined as “Intense Expectation” – INTENSE EXPECTATION!! Knowing what the Word of God says concerning you, your life, your situtation, your present trial – and then INTENSELY expecting God to perform His Word and His Promise concerning it.

Sure we have struggles (afflictions) but the Bible says in Psalms 34:19 “Many are the afflictions of the righteous BUT God will deliver you out of them ALL.”

Sure we have really trying days (tribulations) but the Bible says in John 16:33, “In this world you will have tribulation, BUT be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Finally, 1 John 4:4 says, “Greater is He that is IN YOU, than he that is in the world.” THAT is some sound backing!!

God promises in Jeremiah 1:12 “Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to PERFORM it.”

I dare you today – no I take that back – I DOUBLE DOG dare you today to EXPECT something pleasant from God. Not just pleasant like Webster’s defines – but something DELIVERING or OVERCOMING like the Bible defines.
