Hello Everyone,

I hope may e mail finds you doing well and hope that you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day Weekend.

We were home and with our families celebrating over the weekend. We were able to attend our home church yesterday. It was such a great service. They showed a video of what looked like a series of zoom meeting/job interviews where the person leading the “Pretend interview” was asking people being interviewed how they feel about working 24/7, being available to your associate whenever they call and need you, staying with them in the night if they are not feeling well, constantly doing lots of ongoing task that could include washing clothes, cooking for, and running errands for your associate. In regard so the pay rate, it does not pay anything in cash, and seldom comes with any appreciation, but is always expected of you.

The people being interviewed questioned to the person hosting the “pretend interview”, “who would take on such a job as this”? When the person holding the interview says, “Mom’s”..several of those being interviewed broke down and cried because they remembered their Mother doing all of this for them and the they also remembered the times they didn’t take time to appreciate it, but did expect their mom to be there for them and always have things ready for them.

It was a cute little video, but it really put things into perspective and had most of our eyes leaking. So, any of you Mom’s that are reading this e mail today, please know that we appreciate you and you bring much value to all of our lives.
