The Thurstons
I hope my e mail finds you doing well and walking in the blessings of the Lord.
It’s hard to believe we are looking at July in just a few days. It seems like June flew by in a hurry. The Thurstons enjoyed have last weekend off. Turns out that not only did Marni and I attend a wedding on Saturday of a close friend of the family that we’ve known since he was a youngster, Monty attended a wedding of a close family friend on Saturday, as well. Since we were on the east side of the State, Marni secured tickets to a Detroit Tiger game and we were able to take most of the family along with us. It was a great day for the family to be together and a WIN for the Tigers that day.
We are not out every weekend this summer. We are taking some time for vacations and recovery. LOL I think most of you know that we work full time jobs all week, along with traveling and ministering on the weekends. Over the past few weekends that we’ve traveled we’ve put on more than 1,200 miles and 5 services. This is what we do with our weekends that we are not working. We also have family, especially grandkids that we all enjoy spending time with. We also enjoy golfing and motorcycle rides. We have wonderful home churches that we all attend faithfully on Wednesday nights, but love our Sunday morning services. On top of that, it’s kind of nice to not have anything scheduled every minute of every day. To get to do a little “porch settin'” and spending some time with the Lord is one of the most powerful things you can experience in life. We often take it for granted.
With that said, even though we’re not out every weekend, the weekends we are out are filled with activities and lots of travel. I’ve posted our summer schedule below for you.

I just want again say Thank You for your prayers, your kindness, and the support you continually show to the ministry of The Thurstons. We know that God is using our music and our message to make an impact in peoples lives. We’ve had many reports of how people have grown in the Lord and been challenged in their faith walk as a result of our ministry. We’ve had many reports of how the words in a song carried someone through a challenging in their lives. That’s why we sing songs like, “What You Could Never Get Over, God Will Get You Through”, and then as a result of God’s faithfulness to carry us through we can sing songs like, “I Lived To Tell About It”!!
We serve a Good – Good God and He is so worthy of our Praise. If you want to have some fun, just go ahead and shout out a little bit of Praise to the Lord today and thank Him for all He has done for you, and through you. You’ll find that God inhabits the Praises of His people, but you’ll also find your faith will rise while giving Him Praise.
We love and appreciate you all and look forward to seeing you soon. God bless.
P.S. – Don’t forget to save these dates and call and sign up for the cruise TODAY!!!
